Alternatively, you can choose a quick and picturesque 30-minute flight with Tropic Air or Maya Air, enjoying stunning aerial views. Arriving at Placencia Airport, the villas are only a short 5-minute car ride away. Check in process

A few days prior to my arrival, the amazing staff at Seabird Villas reached out to request my flight details to arrange a convenient airport pickup. On the day of arrival, we were warmly greeted by Ken, one of the staff members, at the arrivals area of Placencia Airport. He kindly assisted with our luggage and escorted us to the villa, just a short 5-minute drive away. Ken provided us with a comprehensive tour of the villa, demonstrating how the lights and appliances operated and ensuring we were familiar with the locking mechanisms on the doors. He went above and beyond by explaining all the incredible activities available to us throughout our stay, from breathtaking sunset sails to exciting island hopping adventures and the option of private chefs right in the villa. It was truly a personalised and attentive welcome experience.

Villas 

The villas at Seabird Vacation Villas are truly remarkable. During my stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing one of their stunning four-bedroom, three-bathroom villas with a private pool, and I was immediately captivated by its modernity and spaciousness. As I entered the villa, I was greeted by an expansive open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, complete with a long dining table, a television, and two contemporary sofas. The kitchen surpassed my expectations, equipped with every amenity one could possibly need and rivalling the best vacation villas I’ve ever stayed in. From a microwave and drip coffee machine to a modern kettle and tea maker, pressure cooker, full double refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, crockpot, hand blender, and even a Ninja food blender, the kitchen left no stone unturned. Furthermore, the villa was stocked with an impressive assortment of plates, cups, glassware, and high-quality Tupperware, ensuring a truly comfortable and convenient stay.

Within the main villa, there were two bedrooms. On one side, there was a spacious master bedroom featuring an ensuite bathroom, while on the other side, there was a guest bedroom adjacent to the kitchen with a separate external bathroom. Both bedrooms boasted contemporary shelving units with ample hangers and a safe for securing valuables. Additionally, each bedroom was equipped with a large flat-screen television, providing entertainment and relaxation. The bathrooms were adorned with modern showers and adorned with plush white towels, including makeup towels—a thoughtful touch that was greatly appreciated. Furthermore, the bathrooms offered salon-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, adding a touch of luxury to the overall experience.

Just a few steps away from the main villa, there is a separate casita that offers additional accommodation options. The casita features two bedrooms, each with its own private entrance, as well as a convenient jack and jill bathroom situated between the bedrooms. These bedrooms and bathrooms in the casita provide the same exceptional features and amenities found in the main villa, ensuring a consistent level of comfort and quality. This arrangement makes the casita an ideal choice for hosting a group of friends, as it offers a perfect balance between togetherness and privacy.

To make the most of my trip, I pre-booked a golf cart rental through Captain Jaks, which provided convenient drop-off and pick-up directly at the villa. Having a golf cart allowed us the freedom to explore the town at our own pace. Additionally, as guests of the villas, we were provided with complimentary guest passes to Placencia Beach Club. This idyllic spot offers a stunning beachfront location, complete with a swim-up bar, restaurant, and comfortable palapas and loungers. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a leisurely afternoon by the sea.

It was a pleasant surprise to have daily housekeeping services that refreshed the villa, made the beds, and tidied up, adding an extra level of convenience. The level of service and accessibility truly made my stay at Seabird Villas an outstanding experience.
